Lara McKnight, OD
Dr. Lara McKnight grew up between eastern Nevada and Oregon’s western valley, earning her B.S. from Willamette University and her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. She completed an optometric ocular disease residency at the Cincinnati Eye Institute through The Ohio State University in 2003, training in ocular surface disease, surgical pre- and post-operative care, diabetic and retinal disease, and glaucoma management.

Dr. McKnight has practiced in Reno and Carson City since 2003. From 2009 to 2011, she taught ocular anatomy and anterior segment ocular disease at an optometry college in Texas before returning to clinical practice. A fifth-generation Nevadan, she enjoys travel in her free time.
